Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Director of Accounting and will work in our fast-paced corporate office to perform all functions related to the price master file, including new product pricing, price increases and freight bracket pricing, and Power BI management, including being the liaison between finance and IT, including monthly reconciliations, forecast and actuals upload and maintenance, enhanced reporting and dashboards, as well as other finance/accounting related analysis and support. The Senior Financial Analyst will work on a broad range of assignments including, but not limited to, forecasting, budgeting, month end reporting, ad hoc analysis, and senior management presentations. Additional responsibilities include partnering with IT team to ensure data integrity and control for all business intelligence and financial systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accuracy and updating of the Price Master file, including implementing price changes, researching pricing issues and freight bracket pricing
• Validate data in Power BI, including reconciling to monthly financials and uploading the forecast and budget
• Coordinate with IT to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data
• Support the monthly close process by preparing month end reporting data and variance analyses, recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data
• Identify and drive process improvement through standard and ad hoc reporting
• Support the reporting, budget and mid-year strategic forecast planning processes
• Assist with presentations for senior management and ELT members
• Perform other tasks and ad hoc reporting as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with emphasis in business, economics, finance and/or accounting
• 3-5 years of financial and cost analysis preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (spreadsheets, database management, presentations, etc.)
• Comprehensive knowledge of ERP and business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills – must be able to structure the problem, collect data and present results
