WordPress Developer

Overview

A skilled WordPress developer who will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development on our websites. This will include the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site administration and integrations.

Essential Duties

• Develop applications for our WordPress sites including integrations with Salesforce and other applications.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database integrations using Wordpress.
• Working with the Creative department to generate WordPress themes and manage plugins.
• Salesforce coded automation.
• Salesforce Admin backup.
• Monitor the installation of new plugins.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring the performance of the live websites.

Ministry

• Has the duty to interact with others as an ambassador of faith.
• Tasked with performing duties according to the Word of God and Biblical standards as drawn from the Holy Scripture.
• Serves as a messenger or teacher of faith according to e3 Doctrinal statements and beliefs.
• Has a duty to assist others to cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.

Spiritual Requirements

• Being completely surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
• Bearing witness of Christian character in daily life by biblical definition.
• Being a member in good standing of a local church.
• Agreement and with the e3 Partners Doctrinal Statement.
• Is called to represent Christ and the beliefs of e3 to the larger community.

• Web Design Experience

Proven work experience as a WordPress developer. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, Javascript/AJAX, MYSQL and other basic web design skills are required. 

Preferred Experience

Preferred experience with Advanced MySQL, Salesforce API integration, Salesforce Apex Code, Wordpress API/codex and Git or other version control tools.
