Maintenance Technician - Renton

E&E Foods is launching a search for a Maintenance Technician at their office in Renton, WA. This job requires a professional who has excellent maintenance and mechanical skils, attention to detail, strong understanding of prioritizing work and adheres to safety regulations. In addition, they must have excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills. They will be a problem solver and able to work effectively despite persistent interruptions and changing priorities. Finally, they will be a team player with the ability to handle deadline driven environments.

The successful candidate will:

· Have Prefabrication/Weld/Mig-Tig skills.

· Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain processing and plant equipment.

· Possess Forklift Certification to assist in transporting heavy equipment for repair and maintenance.

· Perform emergency repair of processing and plant equipment.

· Perform scheduled maintenance of processing and plant equipment, diagnose areas of needed repair.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform maintenance and repair work.

· Perform a variety of building maintenance, including plumbing and carpentry.

· Responsible for a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and materials.

· Follows all company safety policies and procedures.

· Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• 3/ years relevant work experience
• Past Maintenance Technician experience preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

· The starting wage is $27.00 to $38.00 per hour.

· Must be able to work 12 hour shifts during the season.

Work Environment:

· Work is conducted in the plant processing area. Work is fast paced, and involves strenuous lifting.

· Extended hour may be required seasonally or as needed (8-14 hours per day) and shift hours may change.

· Conditions in the production area can be wet and cold, with slippery floor surfaces. Rubber boots required.

· Noise levels vary. Depending on general activity and production machinery running, but can become quite high. Hearing protection is required.

· Eye protection required for hazardous machinery as directed by Manager.

· There may be occasional exposure to sub-zero temperatures in the cooler and Freezer. Warm clothing, sturdy shoes or boots and gloves are recommended

· No travel required
