Implement the electrical system architecture for the vehicle and work with Harness EngineersDevelop and implement the network communication architecture and design for the entire vehicle and work with Network Communication Integration EngineersSupport the specification of, and create schematics for integration test benches and other test platformsValidate electrical connections, Ethernet, CAN/CANFD, LIN communication between the vehicle's controllersSupport Control Engineers to debug issues and develop solutions to controls problemsWork with Systems and Diagnostic Systems Engineers on integration tasksWork with technicians and support prototype vehicle builds, vehicle bring up, and testing Review log data and support issue resolutionSupport product launch activities as neededWork with Configuration and SW Build Engineers to support OTA software upgrades and deploymentWork with Test Engineers to prepare, plan, configure and perform system verification and validation testing onsite and on test facilitiesWork with stakeholders to break down features and requirements and develop specifications Document system designs and issue findingsReview log data and support issue resolutionParticipate in the design of a world class engineering effort to bring electric vehicles to a new level of refinementRequirementsMotivation to make complicated systems work togetherGreat communication skills 3 years of experience with automotive controller integration Fundamental understanding of circuit design, mechanical systems, sensors and actuators as well as ECU communicationExperience with engineering tools such as Vector CANalyzer or similar to review network communicationExperience with failure analysis methodology like FMEA and fault treesExperience with standard EE lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeters, data bus analysis tools, ...) and understanding of wiring Schematics Motivation to make complicated systems work togetherElectric vehicle systems and hands-on integration testing experienceCreativity in your designMotivation to make a difference in the automotive industryAbility to build stuff with your handsEducation B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field M.S. degree is#J-18808-Ljbffr
