Earthcom, Inc. a Michigan based full service wireless construction company is seeking an energetic Accounting Managerforits operation in the greater Lansing area. The position will entail oversightof all accounting functions and supervision of related personnel as well as financialreporting projects for cost accounting, cost control and departmental managementreporting. This position will oversee the financial matters of the companyunder the direction of the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the chart of accounts in accordancewith GAAP;
• Maintain and orderly accounting system and itsrelated sub-systems;
• Oversee and manage proper job costing and relatedallocations;
• Maintain proper internal controls over theorganizations assets;
• Oversight of accounts payables and accountsreceivable functions;
• Ensure proper and timely monthly bankreconciliations;
• Update and maintain general ledger for multiplecompanies and their associated intercompany transactions;
• Manage cash balances, transfers and draws ofmultiple bank accounts and lines of credit;
• Provide financial analysis/reports on a weeklyand monthly basis as well as special reports;
• Comply with local, state and federal governmentstandards and reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree inaccounting with 5 years professional accounting experience;
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop financialmanagement system and Microsoft Office products;
• Previous experience in processing or overseeingpayroll processing a plus;
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.

Starting pay will be based on qualifications coupled withthe candidate’s years of experience.
