Position Details: Position Summary: The Implementation Manager will manage all TMS implementation projects and control changes in scope, schedule, and costs. They will also be involved with the design of the TMS solution & software and will serve in a key role in working with clients. Essential Job Duties: Understand full scope of TMS Implementation Project Develop Solutions and build Scope of Work Generate project plan within budget Work with TMS support manager to build out new client requirements within TMS (organizaitons, parameters, invoicing requirements, automations, customizations, etc) Ensure all tasks are being completed on time, within budget, with high quality and 100% client satisfaction Manage ERP integrations through API or file share through SFTP/FTP, via XML, CSV, TXT and/or PDF Provide project team with accurate, consistent, and timely status updates Maintain a high level of knowledge of 3GTMS capabilities, product roadmap and value-added supplemental software Conduct architectural evaluation, design, and analysis of enterprise-wide systems throughout entire TMS team Help with LTL/TL/Parcel setup and analysis as needed Identify and raise project risks, product gaps and offer work around solutions Develop and maintain a deep knowledge base of logistics industry Mentor team members and share industry knowledge Qualifications Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelors degree required 2 years experience implementing software solutions Logistics or project management experience preferred TMS Experience considered nice to have Physical Requirements: Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours) Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions The essential physical and mental requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
