Description
Dynabrade is looking for a Human Resources Generalist that will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Human Resources activities to managers and employees including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, policy administration and interpretation and HR compliance.
Requirements
The HR Generalist will;
Assist the Director of Human Resources with Policy development and implementation
Advise managers and employees regarding HR Policies and Procedures
Identify and resolve moderate employee relation issues and ensure accurate and timely documentation of concerns and issue
Act as a backup for payroll processing
Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
Interview applicants and make recommendations on hiring decisions
Assist employees with employee benefit plan, payroll, leave of absence and other HR-related actions, as necessary
Provide training on HR issues, performance management, interviewing skills, sexual harassment, and termination procedures; makes recommendations on training needs and improvements
Ensure compliance with all local/state/country labor laws and regulations; maintain accurate recordkeeping and conduct compliance audits as required
Promote and support employee and manager self-service of available on-line HR tools
May perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
Minimum 2 years HR experience
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong level of influence
Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations and confidentiality
Knowledge & Skills
Human Resources Certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
Specialized Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws.
