Senior Financial Analyst:

The Senior Financial Analyst role is a multifaceted position as part of our finance team which is focused cross-functional projects, financial & data analysis, business systems, and inventory analytics. The Analyst is responsible for providing analysis in support of Finance and Executive Management strategic decisions and complying with proper financial controls. Proficiency in managing and analyzing large data sets and drawing summary conclusions are role requirements.

DuraMark was founded in 2007 and has experienced significant growth over the past several years, mostly while service customers in the industrial manufacturing industry. We utilize NetSuite ERP (an Oracle product) as our main system of record and have expanded our scope with several e-commerce platforms to serve a broader range of customers and industries. With all 60 employees as active NetSuite users and continued interest in utilizing financial information and data analytics to drive strategic business decisions, this role plays a key part in several aspects of the business and will include daily interactions with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Leadership.

Objective and Overview:

• Create, analyze, report, and communicate financial & data analytics as captured through NetSuite
• Master end-to-end business processes for the full business to understand the impact of requests for changes/enhancements to our systems and reporting
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to understand data needs and assist in creation of reporting packages for key department and company metrics.
• Provide financial analytical support to multiple processes, including month-end close procedures, product costing/customer pricing analyses, inventory/purchasing analytics, sales, production/operations and ERP system data audits
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and consistency of our physical and systems processes
• Develop and maintain segment and customer profitability reporting.
• Partner with other departments for analytical support for any aspects of reporting, developing and maintaining metrics, forecasting, and inventory optimization at both the company and customer level.
• Partner with other team members to track the annual budget, rolling forecasts and internal management reports with supporting analysis
• Assist in facilitating the bi-annual inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls
• Complete ad-hoc analysis supporting requests from Leadership

 Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems or general business/informatics
• 2 years of experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Not only to collect and analyze data but also to effectively interpret and communicate. Must be able to prepare for and present to cross-functional teams and upper-management
• Strong analytical skills
• High aptitude in Microsoft applications, especially advanced in Microsoft Excel (required). Proficiency with vlookups, pivot tables, logic statements, advanced filtering, etc
• Willingness and ability to work in team environment but also a self-starter, able to complete job requirements independently and meet deadlines
• Familiar with accounting principles, finance terminology, and systems languages
• Analytical thinker who is data driven, with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs
• Thrives in a collaborative environment with experience working on complex, large-scale, time-critical projects with cross functional team members
• Strong data analytics, reporting and database experience
• Highly organized, accountable, positive, and willing to learn
• Strong ability to contribute to a high achieving team
• Experience implementing or utilizing BI systems a plus
• Project management background a plus
