This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a new plant start up with a premier cabinetry brand, Dura Supreme Cabinetry LLC, in Statesville, NC. We are looking for a Facilities/Maintenance Manager who is hands-on as well as experienced supervisor to maintain the facilities, buildings and equipment.
In the start-up phase, we are looking for someone who is willing to help in a variety of areas as we prepare for production.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the maintenance of the building, grounds, plant facilities, and manufacturing equipment, including parking lots.
- Manages Maintenance Technician(s) and janitorial services.
- Assists with manufacturing repairs.
- Assists with installation of new equipment.
- Orders or purchases parts/consumables as required.
- Contracts with and supervises outside contractors associated with facility repairs and services.
- Monitors and maintains electronic security and surveillance system.
- Assists with developing budgets for upcoming repairs.
- Communicates with vendors to obtain quotes, services, etc.
- Logs and prioritizes work and maintains information in maintenance related software (CMMS).
- Coordinates and assists with snow removal operations.
- Oversees repair of equipment and tools.
- Establishes and maintains a preventative maintenance program.
- Advises and consults with Manager about maintenance priorities, equipment misuse, and safety hazards.
- Formulates plans for new equipment installation including electrical, compressed air, and dust collection.
- Collaborates with Managers to ensure maintenance time-frame suitability.
- Consults and coordinates outside services such as machine tech support, pest control, fire protection, grounds, skilled trades
- Responsible for all MRO purchases and inventory management to include quarterly report to Manager on totals by vendor.
- Supervises and gives direction to both day and night shift maintenance staff, including janitors.
- Maintains logs on maintenance work orders submitted to ensure completion in order of priority and receipt date. Meets weekly with Manager to update and report progress.
Requirements
- Requires two-year technical degree or equivalent, mechanical and electrical working experience and knowledge
- 2 years manufacturing experience required
- 2 years of supervisory experience required including performance management, hiring, mentoring and employee relations.

Salary : $55,900 - $70,700
