Dunn Tire, a local retail automotive repair facility with 7 locations in the Greater Rochester Area, is looking to hire skilled Automotive Service Technicians to our growing team. Our ideal Automotive Service Technician will be a hard-working, goal-oriented individual who has a strong desire to provide excellent customer service and thrives in a busy work environment. 

• Pay: $50,000 to $100,000 (Based on hourly rate and generous monthly bonuses) 
• Signing Bonus: $6000* (Paid $1000 a month for 6 months) 
• Typical Shift: 8-5 M-S (5 day work week) 2-3 hours of overtime available

Responsibilities

Service Technicians are responsible for inspecting and troubleshooting issues on passenger and light truck vehicles. Additionally, you will be responsible for test driving, performing repair and preventive maintenance work to keep our customers' vehicles safe. Maintained and road worthy.

• Examine various systems within cars to diagnose problems.
• Remove parts that are worn or not operating properly and replace them with new or used parts.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil, filter, and belt changes according to schedules established by various car manufacturers.
• Explain repairs to customers and provide estimates for unanticipated repairs.
• Suggest optional repairs and preventative maintenance to customers based on service intervals and/or wear.
• Keep detailed records on all work performed.
• Assist with the installation of tires when necessary.
• General Housekeeping and misc. duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Service Technicians must possess 1 year minimum on the job experience. 
• Service Technicians must own their own tools
• Service Technicians must possess a valid state driver license
• Service Technicians must possess the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• A State Inspector's License is preferred but not required
