Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operates assigned truck to pick up, transport, and deliver equipment and/or materials such as aggregate, hot mix, asphalt, dirt, or water.
- Secures loads for safe transport in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Works closely with other crew members during pickup and delivery to coordinate work and ensure safety.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Performs pre and post-trip inspections and ensures the truck is clean and in safe working order.
- Completes documentation for inspections, prorate, and other compliance needs.
- Reports when the truck needs maintenance or repair.
- Maintains orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at the job site.
- Follows Supervisors instructions closely.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Commercial Drivers License with Tanker Endorsement
- Current DOT Health Card
- Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
- An unwavering focus on safety.
- OSHA
- Willingness to travel throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly work extended | overtime hours outdoors and in various weather conditions at all project locations.
- Travel is required.
