Dublin School Inc is Hiring a Learning Specialist - Part-time Near Dublin, NH

Dublin School, an independent and intentionally small 9-12 boarding school set in rural southwestern New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time faculty member to fulfill the roles of Learning Specialist. The position is for the immediate 2022-23 academic year. As Learning Specialist the individual will work with students in a 1:1 capacity to support them in the development of effective learning skills, improved self-awareness and self-advocacy, and general academic growth.
To be considered for this position candidates must be familiar with learning differences and have the ability to individualize instruction based on student profiles. A demonstrated ability to form positive relationships, serve as a role model for intellectual engagement, and work with adolescents in a small group and/or 1:1 setting is essential. Candidates must display a commitment to ongoing professional growth and a willingness to collaborate with all individuals involved in a student's education. Individuals must be highly organized and display excellent follow-through; strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. The position requires professionalism and confidentiality. A Master's degree with a background in special education is preferred. Note: this position does not include on-campus housing.
