Description

Drug Package LLC is seeking a Shipping Clerk. A Shipping Clerk performs various duties including, but not limited to, picking/packing orders, shipping/receiving and re-stocking. This is a full-time position located in O’Fallon, MO with working hours of 7:00am- 3:30 pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

Typical job duties include, but not limited to the following:

• Prepare, organize and process orders with a high level of accuracy
• Pick products per order, either manually or with electronic scanning device
• Determine most economical and efficient shipping method; select appropriate shipping container; pack items to ensure safe delivery
• Assist with the processing UPS, USPS, FedEx shipments / Worldship knowledge preferred
• Report out of stock issues to supervisor and restock from warehouse
• Assist warehouse personnel and warehouse supervisor as needed
• Receive and unload incoming material and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment. Inspect for damages and record.
• Responsible for returned products (repacking and returning to inventory; disposal, etc.)
• Operate manual and/or powered material handling equipment as required.
• Be willing to help in other departments/ areas when needed.

Qualifications

• Dependability and reliability, great attendance and punctuality are a must
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent lifting of 30 lbs., occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Frequent bending and reaching
• Organizational skills
• Experience with material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, strapping machine, box taper, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
• Ability to read, sort, check, count and verify product and carry out instructions.
• Must be able to Multi-task
• Basic computer skills/ ERP program knowledge
