Job Description

Responsibilities include: assists patients with frame and lens selections, coating options, repairs and adjustments; educates patients on lens and frame options in relation to lifestyle needs; meets sales goals; educates patients on insurance coverage and benefits as well as pricing; assists in quality inspection of glasses; assists with frame board management & merchandising; maintains the appearance of the dispensary; efficiently submits orders to lab and insurance.

Qualifications

Experience preferred as a Dispensing Optician and possess a complete understanding of optics and lensometry, troubleshooting, adjustment and repair; as well as insurance and electronic medical records. Must have a detailed knowledge of current fitting standards and modern fashion trends, and ability to maintain frame inventory and merchandise.

Additional information

This is a full time position.

**Total compensation based on Salary, Employer's Medical Contributions, & Profit Sharing**

Schedule will fluctuate; must be available:

  • Monday 7am-5pm
  • Tuesday 6:30am-5pm
  • Wednesday 7:45am-6pm
  • Thursday 8am-5pm
  • Friday 6:30am-3pm
  • Saturday 7:15am-noon (twice per month - currently suspended due to COVID)
