The Brand Manager role leads clients and internal teams toward objectives for growth and shifts those objectives when needed. They earn clients' trust through full partnership and help their team members grow by including them in the work. As such, a passion for account growth and experience identifying objectives, growth tactics and obstacles are a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Leading measurable growth for the client's brand and of the account within the agency.
• Ensuring operational excellence on the accounts and projects managed.
• Financial management responsibilities include reviewing SOWs, projections, and billing for brands managed, review monthly billing spreadsheets with clients.
• Lead execution of projects and inform agency leadership on status.
• Serves as day-to-day client contact. • Leads team in the execution of project deliverables
• Maintains and grows knowledge of client’s business, competition and industry.
• Leads team understanding of client’s business goals/objectives relative to projects.
• Identifies new and creative ways to contribute to and grow client business, including thought leadership around areas of interest and new opportunities.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (marketing, business, communications)
• Six to 10 years of agency and/or client-side experience managing large scale interactive marketing projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of the digital industry, emerging trends, and innovation
Competencies
• Work effectively with a variety of internal disciplines and teams
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Think and operate with strategic orientation and task/project management
• Lead cross-functional teams and navigate cross-agency collaboration
• Manages up and knows when to escalate internal and/or client concerns
• Help mentor and support the career development of team members
• Actively contributes to the team and department culture
