JOB DESCRIPTION: 1-800 Radiator & A/C is seeking a professional, motivated, self-starter individual with accounting experience to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a full time position with comprehensive benefits and will be located in our Benicia, CA facility. Responsibilities: Reconcile vendors statements/ company accrual Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments. Reports Summary transactions daily Creates Upload files Responds to incoming emails from vendors, franchises, and in-house staff Contributes to accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed Qualifications: One to three years of Accounts Payable experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivots, vlook-up tables) Knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks is a plus An impressive work-ethic Superior organizational and analytical skills Results oriented Superior communication and writing skills Excellent attention to detail Great team player Pro-active mindset Patience, composure and a friendly personality Position Location: California Compensation Range: $13.60 - $25.20 Compensation Frequency: Hourly Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
