Regional Director of Operations (RDO) Position Overview

As an RDO, you will be responsible for managing a team of District Managers across 40 – 60 Take 5 Car Wash locations in one of our fast-growing geographic areas and you will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact in our business.

Great candidates for this role will bring leadership experience managing operations through other others at 20 Car Wash locations or will have similar experience in another rapidly growing service-oriented industry.

Responsibilities

During the first 1-2 months in the role, our RDO’s immerse themselves into the daily operations of the business and spend a significant amount of time traveling to locations to learn about our business from the inside out.

Following this initial training period, the Director of Operations is expected to:

• Manage daily operations through effective leadership of District Managers representing 40 – 60 Take 5 Car Wash locations
• Analyze reports and dashboards to identify areas of opportunity for improvement on store-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Sales, Customer Growth, Customer Service, Staffing, and Employee Turnover
• Take action to ensure each Take 5 Car Wash location is engaged in activity that drives performance on all KPI’s and execute solutions to address underperforming areas
• Lead others to deliver consistent quality of service and ensure all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Travel to store locations up to 60% of the time
• Leverage relationships with other departments to achieve cross-functional objectives
• Participate in additional business initiatives as necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in business administration or related field, preferred
• 5 years in an operational leadership role required, Car Wash experience preferred
• Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in P&L experience required
• Proficient in group training, presentations, and public speaking
• Ability to provide sales and marketing leadership
• Excellent communications skills with all levels
