Our Charlotte-based client is seeking excellent candidates for a Senior Accountant role that combines tax accounting, financial accounting and reporting.

Role and responsibilities:

* Private Foundation, partnership, corporation and individual accounting and tax

* 60% financial accounting and 40% tax

* Partnership accounting

* Gather and maintain control of investment documents, bank statements & tax documents

* Reconcile investments and account for them utilizing QuickBooks

* Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements of approximately 11 entities and prepare annual audit schedules

* Assist with tax calculations/filings, (including estimated tax payments & extensions) for various types of entities

* Preparation of tax basis schedules and tax schedules

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting required

* CPA required/or in progress

* Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting with tax experience

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook

* Proficient with QuickBooks

* Ability and willingness to work onsite or hybrid
