DrinkPAK LLC is Hiring an Inventory Control Specialist (Night Shift) Near Santa Clarita, CA

Description

LOCATION The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

TEAM The Inventory Control Specialist will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

POSITION This position will be responsible for receiving all inbounds, inspections, reconciling all finished goods, and raw materials.

TYPE Full Time; Hourly / Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verifies and inspects quality of all inbounds, and reports quality issues immediately to appropriate team member
  • Responsible for verifying true time inventory transaction records in the company’s system
  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of all inventories by performing daily, monthly, quarterly audits and by maintaining a comprehensive Cycle Count program
  • Navigates through DrinkPAK’s system in order to successfully execute all daily Inbound/Outbound inventory and receiving tasks
  • Processes all recycle, RMA’s and destruction loads
  • Receives all inbound orders into DrinkPAK’s WMS system including, raw materials, packaging items, UPS, FEDEX and finished goods
  • Rebuilds damaged pallets prior to restocks
  • Ensures all finished goods, raw materials and sub-assembly components are maintained as per established guidelines and procedures.
  • Coordinates with all involved parties to ensure accurate inbound receipts
  • Completes systematic transactions of material movements from Receiving into Inventory, WIP or Non-Conforming inventories
  • Compiles reports by SKU, quantities, inventory locations, and validates systematic inventories against physical counts to investigate and adjust errors in computation or counts and reports reasons for discrepancies
  • Maintains and computes inventory balances by running and preparing reports of inventory balances, shortages, and discrepancies
  • Organizes warehouse for efficient storage and material distribution per supervisor instructions
  • Expired inventory disposition identification (SLOB)
  • Maintains product rotation and storage disciplines (FIFO/FEFO)
  • Interacts and maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership
  • Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management
  • Compliant to all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s and all DrinkPAK’s policies and procedures
  • Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping and productivity
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Field or similar manufacturing / warehouse environment; 4 years preferred
  • Forklift Certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
  • Strong project management, time management, organization, and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to problem solve and cross check documentation
