Mission of the Role:
Performs maintenance for multiple multi-family properties, including exterior, interior, amenities, and common areas. Provide professional and timely service to residents. Our maintenance technicians are also available for after-hours emergency repairs as part of a scheduled rotation, as we strive to provide the highest levels of customer service.

Outcomes We'll Expect:

  • Complete all WOs with accurate documentation and pictures with an accuracy rate over 90% within first 90 days after hire date.
  • Have above 90% accuracy of clocking in and out via Yardi within the first 90 days.
  • WO completion within 24hrs for all critical priorities, 48hrs for all urgent priorities.
  • Quickly respond to and complete maintenance requests to increase tenant satisfaction by 30%.
  • Have an attendance rate 80% or higher for all maintenance meetings, team outings, and company financial town hall gatherings to improve company culture through the FMS team.
  • Attend at least 4 trainings per fiscal year.

Competencies You'll Need:

  • Apartment maintenance knowledge - Having the knowledge to take care of most complex work orders, give team guidance and humbly identify when items need to be outsourced.
  • High Standards - Paying attention to detail and collaborating with the team to meet and exceed personal and organizational standards.
  • Customer Service - Deliver proactive support and exceed customer expectations to build sustainable relationships with management and residents.
  • Bias for Action - Take initiative with limited oversite. Operate and think progressive to create new processes to increase efficiencies of yourself and the team.
  • Adaptability - Embraces change and ambiguity. Motivates and encourages others to do the same.
  • Organizational skills - Has excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet all deadlines by planning and delegating.

You should have:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Your own tools
