Summary

The Quality Inspector inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications.

Functions

· Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities.

· Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable.

· Participate in Root Cause/5Y and troubleshooting meetings as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt full-time position (40 hours per week).

Eligibility Qualifications

· 3 years’ experience in quality position

· Basic blueprint and GD&T understanding

· Basic understanding of SPC a plus

· Must be able to support 5s practices throughout the organization

· Strong computer skills including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Experience using PLEX ERP system a plus
