Dr. Phillips Center is Hiring an Advertising Manager (media buying) Near Orlando, FL
POSITION SUMMARYThe Manager, Advertising is responsible for the daily management and optimization of strategic media campaigns across multiple platforms including paid social media, paid search, digital display and video, programmatic, print, audio (including terrestrial, streaming and podcasts), TV (linear & OTT), outdoor advertising, promotions and immerging platforms. The position requires strong online marketing skills to develop innovative and targeted media campaigns that drive conversions to achieve revenue goals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement paid media strategies and tactics to support marketing plans for shows, AdventHealth School of the Arts, Development/Philanthropy, Events, Strategic Partnerships, and overall institutional initiatives. Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across all platforms including but not limited to paid social media, paid search, digital display, programmatic, print, audio/radio, video, outdoor advertising, promotions, and emerging platforms for all marketing plans/needs across the organization. Collaborate with senior manager, advertising to create cohesive plans that prioritize conversions and drive revenue. Work with analytics tools and platforms to develop, monitor and measure the effectiveness and consistency of digital media efforts for all promotions including but not limited to Strata, Nielsen, Meta/Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.Analyze campaign performance to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations. Identify key insights and trends and apply learnings in real-time to minimize waste and maximize results. Secure added value, when appropriate, and ensure schedules flight as planned. Manage cross-promotional media opportunities to support the arts center and show goals.Work with Project Manager to coordinate the delivery of creative elements to media partners (Digital/TV/radio/select print online/billboard, etc.).Reconcile and communicate all show marketing related advertising settlements. Manage budget allocations to deliver impactful results.Maintain an understanding of media space and trends.Foster positive relationships with external vendors providing media services in order to negotiate the best rates. Follow and support all operational policies and procedures. Assimilate into the arts center culture through understanding, supporting and demonstrating the core values. Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with other departments, colleagues, and partners. Able to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy. Maintain Dr. Phillips Center standards of customer service at all times.Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or business3 years of experience in traditional and digital media buying and placement. Must have experience in paid social media management platforms.Relevant experience in the entertainment/theatre industry is a plus.Proven track record of participating in large-scale marketing projects.Ability to think strategically and be analytical. Creative and energetic with strong attention to detail. Ability to embrace a dynamic environment; must be nimble to adjust media strategies on short notice. Excel under pressure and a deadline-driven environment.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, good business sense, and computer literacy.Must be well-versed in reading, understanding and adhering to budgets. Must be able to complete moderately complex mathematical calculations. Must be knowledgeable in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTThis position requires the ability to work a variable schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.
