Who We're Looking For
We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

Pay Range $22.00 - $28.00/ per hour DOE
Requirements:

• 2 years of veterinary experience (highly preferred)
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive team player willing to continue to learn
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
• Full-time hours, approx. 32 hrs a week 4 to 5 days a week or the possibility to work 4 - 10 hr days.
• Cornerstone computer software and in-house lab equipment experience are a plus!
