During your internship with DANIELLS PHILLIPS VAUGHAN & BOCK, you will work directly with staff, seniors, managers, and partners. You will have the opportunity to gain the same type of training we give to incoming staff. You will gain exposure by working directly on engagements and returns for in our audit and tax departments. Our program is designed specific to those that are driven to grow, ready to apply their knowledge to a real world experience, and up for a new challenge. This also could provide an opportunity to create a permanent staff position for you!

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting and learning to audit the financial data of our clients to determine the reasonableness and accuracy of the information.
• Performing substantive testing in the areas of cash, accounts payable, accounts receivables, inventory, etc.
• Analytical review of reports and confidential client information.
• Preparation of financial statements
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current student majoring in Accounting (minimum 3.0 GPA)
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc)
• Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently on tasks and projects; while also collaborating with peers in a team-oriented environment
