Job Description DPR Construction is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented instructional designer to help create and deploy blended learning journeys and experiences supported by defined competencies for culture/values, progressive leadership, job family and job roles. This role requires managing SMEs, multiple stakeholders and managing change and expectations while working both independently and as part of the Learning and Development team. This position requires flexibility, floating where needed across the ADDIE model including: Needs analysis Instructional design Instructional development Facilitation experience. Responsibilities: Work as a key member of the Learning and Development Team to build, deploy, and measure the impact of scalable learning solutions. Works effectively with experts from all over the family of companies. Works directly with the Talent Partners and Regional Talent Leaders within the organization, assisting is meeting the needs of the business. A teammate with the local/regional talent organization. Responsible for curating and creating components of blended learning solutions and resources aligned with specific competencies and proficiency levels. Make buy/build recommendations which may include vendor IP licenses for internally built courses with scalability and sustainability/change in mind. Support the deployment of learning solutions in the DPR Learning platform, including potential train the trainers for facilitated courses, testing for eLearning and other deployment approaches. Innovation – Stay current on the best practices, emerging tools and thought leaders for the area/organization/competency to ensure that DPR is ever forward and unique. Coordinates with other Instructional Designers and Organizational Consultants to develop an overarching Learning & Development curriculum and related platforms. Position Requirements: Loves learning and creating great learning experiences for others. Demonstrates both strong creative and disciplined approaches to work. Provides actionable recommendations using data where available and best practices. Takes initiative and follows up to chase dependencies in the workflow of designing and developing courses, programs and other solutions. Track record of establishing & cultivating strong relationships and building raving fans. Is systematic and disciplined when determining goals, designing work plans and processes. Communicates effectively—improve communications for fluid information transfer. Collaborates—operate as a can-do member of the high performing team. Holds self and others accountable in accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines. Innovative, diverse & inclusive perspective of audiences who we serve Travel may be required in the future up to 10-20%. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education or related field required, Master’s preferred. 4-6 years of relevant experience building innovative blended learning solutions for all levels of leadership and employees. Proven ability to design and develop learning elements for ILT, VL, e-learning, virtual communities, performance support tools, self-assessments, videos, and curated micro-learning. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Articulate suite including Storyline. Audio editing and video clip editing. Voice over narration a plus. Spanish fluency a plus. Experience with global audiences a plus. Equivalent academic and work experience can be considered.
