Senior Research Scientist

Who You Are

We are looking to hire a Senior Research Scientist who is passionate about conducting and disseminating scholarly telemedicine research to join our team at Doxy.me Research. You bring a positive, collaborative energy to our team of 6 researchers. You have at least 10 years of experience leading and publishing high quality research, at least 5 years of which included a focus on telemedicine. You will work with the Director of Research and the research team to enhance productivity in conducting and publishing telemedicine research in peer reviewed journals.

Your Skills:

• Proficient in leading research studies from conceptualization to publication
• Proficient in scientific writing, particularly manuscripts on telemedicine and health technology for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Proficient with computer programs
• Proficient in quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Your Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD/MD) in social-behavioral sciences, healthcare, and/or biomedical informatics
• At least 10 years of experience leading research
• At least 5 years of experience leading research in telemedicine
• Evidence of productivity in writing and submitting manuscripts on telemedicine and health technology for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven

Job Duties:

• Lead and co-lead study ideation/generation, design, procedures, analysis, and reporting
• Author and co-author manuscripts on telemedicine and health technology for publication in peer-reviewed journals including both literature reviews and secondary data analysis
• Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of primary and secondary data sources
• Author documents such as white papers, project reports, and/or Institutional Review Board protocols
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Manage aspects of the Doxy.me Research’s Research Registry/Provider Network
• Participate in multi-functional teams and provide scientific expertise as needed
• Complete professional development trainings
• Fulfill duties as assigned by the director
