About the role:

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales of the company’s products in the wholesale market across the state. This role is responsible for maintaining existing client relationships as well as establishing relationships with prospects. The Sales Representative represents company brands by attending industry events and distributing orders directly to customers. Metrics for this role will include total sales, client retention, and turning leads into clientele.

What you’ll be doing:

• Contacting regular and prospective clients to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Seeking out leads for prospective new clients.
• Recommending products to business clients based on their needs and interests.
• Being a subject matter expert to answer questions about products, uses, availability, prices, payment terms, and delivery dates.
• Scheduling and conducting educational sessions for clients’ employees about the products.
• Distributing samples, orders, and collateral to buyers.
• Following up with current clients to assess inventory levels and ongoing needs on a weekly basis.
• Representing the company at industry and promotional events as needed.
• Attending Sales meetings.

What you need to succeed:

• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Excellent cannabis product knowledge
• Excellent computer and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team or independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Suite, or MacOS

You should also have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field, or 5 years of proven success in a sales role required.
• Experience or familiarity with the cannabis industry, preferred.
• Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of AZDHS, HIPAA, and Arizona State.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check.

Physical requirements:

• Sitting for prolonged periods of time at a desk, working on a computer or driving.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel as directed.

Hours: Full Time 40 hour/week, open availability

(ii) An offense involving conduct that would be immune from arrest, prosecution, or penalty under section 36-2811 except that the conduct occurred before the effective date of this chapter or was prosecuted by an authority other than the state of Arizona.
