Packaging Manager
The mission of the Packaging Manager is to oversee the daily and long-term operations of the packaging department. To build and develop a packaging team that fosters a safe work environment, the growth and development of its members, and drives efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe work environment that focuses on pro-active remediation of problems
- Foster an environment focused on training and training systems
- Drive efficiency to the floor with an emphasis on inter and intra-departmental collaboration
- Hit daily targets as set by the packaging plan
Experience
Must Have:
- 4 years experience in a packaging/manufacturing department
- 3 years experience in a supervisory role
- Strong leader with a track record of continuous improvement
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field
- Experience with ERP systems
- Alcoholic beverage experience
