Downeast Cider

Downeast Cider is the #1 hard cider brand in New England and #2 hard cider in the country. Our first batches of unfiltered cider were fermented in the dorms of Bates College, Maine. We're now a team of 100, with new roles opening across all departments.

We produce, package, and ship our products at the cider house in East Boston, which is also the location of our office, taproom, and seasonal outdoor bar.

Associate Brand Manager:

The Associate Brand Manager will define, deliver, and grow the Downeast Owned Premise channel, delivering an outstanding brand experience to our consumers and a profitable return to the business. This position is responsible for managing our existing taproom and popup operations, and will be responsible for taking new owned premise opportunities from ideation to launch to ongoing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, build, and present the business case for discrete new owned premise opportunities
• Launch new popups and taprooms, including leases, licensing, build-out, and hiring
• Manage ongoing taprooms and popups, including forecasting, standard operating procedures, hiring and training, supervising work, and providing necessary infrastructure
• Measure and report on owned premise activities with analysis, insights, and recommendations 

Qualifications:

Must have:

• Hospitality management experience
• New site build-out experience (temporary or permanent sites)
• Inventory management experience
• Experience analyzing business performance and reporting on results 
• Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent
