Dow Aero Logistics, LLC is Hiring a Customer Service Representative III Near Oklahoma City, OK

As a Customer Service Representative III at Dow Aero Logistics, your duties will require confidentiality, initiative, sound decision-making, independent judgment, and the ability to escalate serious or unique problems promptly to superiors. Candidates must be driven by a first-class goal to make a substantial and valuable impact to the organization and should present:

  • Expert verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Expert planning, organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills;
  • High degree of an attention to detail;
  • Quality-minded focus; and
  • High energy, plus flexibility in a high-paced and deadline driven organization.

These candidates would need to work well in both a team environment as well as independently, while being able to represent to management, peers, and other coworkers with professional courtesy and acumen.

Essential functions

  • Demonstrate ability to produce consistently high-quality work in a fast paced highly-fluid environment;
  • Demonstrate ability for quick problem solving skills and multi-tasking;
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical skills and initiative concerning complex issues;
  • Ability to aid purchasing staff in a non-supervisory role.;
  • Gain advanced knowledge of all Dow operations as to assist with training other purchasing agents;
  • Communicate with numerous customers and vendors on a daily basis (via e-mail, phone calls, virtual meetings, etc.);
  • Create purchase, repair, work, and/or manufacturing orders;
  • Maintain up to date status on open orders;
  • Prepare and send quotes to customers;
  • Prepare paperwork to ship items to customers;
  • Prioritize workload while still completing tasks in a timely manner and/or by the due date; and
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, vendors, staff, and guests.

Required Education or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED; 
  • Four (4) or more years of sales/procurement and customer service experience; and
  • Solid understanding of working on Mac and/or Windows computer operating systems; and
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software—primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Education or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; and 
  • General understanding of QuickBooks or other accounting software; and
  • Aviation industry work history.

Primary Work Environments

  • Potential telework during COVID-19 pandemic; and
  • Climate controlled office.

Desired Soft Skills

  • Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision and aptitude to learning quickly while thinking “outside of the box.”

Physical Demands

Expected Days and Hours

  • Monday through Friday
    • 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
    • Flexible

Open and able to work occasional overtime and weekends as required dependent on workload.

Supervisory or Management Responsibility

  • This position has no direct supervisory or management responsibilities.

Travel requirements

  • Rarely (up to 10% of the year)

Required Personal Equipment/Tooling

  • Not applicable.

Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for job duties and responsibilities will be provided as necessary by Dow Aero Logistics, including protective eyewear, respirator, etc.
