Dow Aero Logistics, LLC is Hiring a CNC Programmer I Near Oklahoma City, OK

Essential Functions

  • Read technical drawings and plan the most efficient path for manufacture.
  • Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
  • Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
  • Assist CNC operators with cut data and operation.
  • Assist Engineering with tooling as necessary.
  • Occasional operation of programs on machine.

Required Education or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED; and
  • Two (2) or more years of technical experience (including education); or
  • Three (3) or more years of related CNC programming experience and
  • Five (5) or more years of related CNC machining operating experience.
  • Experience with MasterCam, Fusion360 or related CAM software.
  • Programming of 3 axis mills and lathes with live tooling.

Preferred Education or Experience

  • Graduate from a technical school.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or CATIA a plus.

Primary Work Environment

  • Climate controlled primarily, occasionally not climate controlled;
  • Shop/Warehouse; occasional loud noises;
  • Occasional fumes and particles;
  • Frequent moving mechanical equipment and vibrations.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Lift, push, and pull objects (up to 50 pounds);

Expected Days and Hours

  • Monday through Friday
    • First Shift - 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Open and able to work occasional overtime, weekends, and willing to rotate shifts as required dependent on workload.

Supervisory or Management Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory or management responsibilities.

Travel

Travel is rarely expected for this position.

Required Personal Equipment/Tooling

  • Protective steel-toed footwear.

Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for job duties and responsibilities will be provided as necessary by Dow Aero Logistics, including protective eyewear, respirator, etc.
