Job Description
Doran Jones is looking for a Senior Data Engineer that will be a key member of a Data Integration Project for a major Asset Management Company.
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in software development using Python 3 - focusing on Python solutions using python’s Object orientation capabilities.
- Experience with database design and implementation: Standard relational database.
- Experience with using AWS Lambda for Data Processing in Batch/real-time.
- Experience with using Apache Airflow as Scheduler.
- AWS tools: S3, Aurora, Neptune.
- Active development experience with data pipelines.
- Experience with Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn, Matplotlib, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Memory models & Threads, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Self-starter, ability to manage a small team, supportive of CSR.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with Development Operations (DevOps/CICD): Git, Jenkins.
- Clear oral and written communication.
- Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.

- Experience with Snowflake
