Our Educational Services team provides behavioral and academic support for students with identified disabilities in their school setting. Job Duties Include:
- Works under the direction of the classroom teacher, providing support with the implementation of academic and behavioral goals
- Completes daily data collection to student plans, charting frequency, and duration of behaviors in relation to behavioral goals
- Provides support to students, including redirection, completion of all work assignments, planning and organizational skills
- Utilizes strategies to assist the student in developing positive coping skills
- Assists the student in developing positive peer and adult relationships
- Fostering communication skills
- Provides de-escalation and behavioral support to student
- Motivates the student to be successful and responsible by providing behavioral, emotional, physical, social, and educational support, serving as a foundation for meeting goals
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Experience supporting children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (preferred)
