How this role makes a difference:

The Account Manager on the Inside Sales Team has the primary responsibility of retaining and growing DCN’s clients by proactively problem solving and presenting solutions for our customers. Your customer base will be small to medium sized General Contractors, Sub Contractors, and other verticals inside the commercial construction industry. This role will be fully remote, working from a home office, while being connected with our other offices around the country through daily, weekly, and monthly team interactions and bonding. Teamwork is our fuel!

Some examples of what you will have accountability for in this role include:

  • Seek upsell opportunities to grow current customers by selling them additional DCN products and services through consultative problem-solving techniques
  • React quickly and effectively to uncover potential cancel reasons and overcome objections by reinforcing product features and value to retain the customer
  • Contact existing clients that are up for renewal and ensure continued customer satisfaction
  • Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) designed to improve account retention, contact rate, upsell, renewal and retention ratios
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all account interactions within standard CRM systems and other tools
  • Participate in all job, product and industry-related training opportunities
  • Improve customer product engagement

What You Bring:

The Account Manager must have the drive to resolve customer issues, promote customer engagement, and have strong experience in a sales environment in addition to:

  • High energy people person! You are the front lines of delighting our customers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years minimum of experience in sales within a relevant fast-paced environment is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
  • Adaptability for learning job responsibilities and processes
  • Aptitude for learning new software
  • Ability to self-monitor and continuously improve performance results
  • Strong interpersonal, sales and/or customer service skills
  • Proficiency in desktop software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with key sales tools (Salesforce.com, etc)
  • SaaS or Tech Account Management experience strongly preferred
  • Passionate about achieving individual and team success
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and a persistent go-getter
  • Ability to think, plan and sell strategically
  • Possess a consultative, customer centric selling philosophy
  • High integrity, ethics, and team-building abilities
  • Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • Have a sense of humor
