Overview

DOCS Health is seeking a Part-Time, General Dentist to provide problem-focused dental services at a correctional facility in Sabillasville, MD. Candidate must possess strong diagnostic and clinical skills with an emphasis on oral surgery. Correctional dentistry is a unique opportunity for Dentists looking to earn supplemental income without the administrative responsibilities, “selling of dentistry”, or overhead costs associated with a traditional private practice. DOCS manages all staffing, documentation, invoicing/billing, and ordering of dental supplies, including PPE and instrumentation. Access to DOCS’ Chief Dental Officer 24/7 for clinical consultation and support.

Responsibilities

• Exam, diagnose and treat patients consistent within ADA guidelines.
• Abide by SOAP format, update medical histories, obtain patient consent and all necessary documents prior to treatment.

Schedule

• One Monday monthly 
• 8AM to 4PM

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted State Dental License
• Strong oral surgery skills preferred
• Willingness to communicate effectively with DOCS Health while representing our organization in any correctional facility.
