Key Responsibilities as a Prep Cook at dnata Catering, you will play a vital role in our aviation catering team, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of high-quality meals for airline clients. Your main responsibility will be to assist in the preparation and organization of ingredients, ensuring they are ready for cooking and assembly. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will follow recipes and portion guidelines to measure and prepare ingredients, such as vegetables, meats, and sauces, while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. With a keen eye for detail, you will assist in the proper storage and rotation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste. As a Prep Cook, you will also contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen by assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Collaborating closely with the culinary team, you will support the production of high-quality meals by assisting in cooking, baking, and assembling dishes as required. You Have:EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in a high-volume food service with at least 1 year experience/exposure to menu research and development
