Pay Rate $22.00/hr

Shift: 3:30pm-9:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

You Will

As a Passenger Service Supervisor for dnata, you will professionally lead a team of Passenger Service Agents in ensuring that all airline accounts and their customers are being managed and handled in accordance with dnata, DoT, FAA and IATA regulations. You will have overall responsibility for coordinating passenger service activities from check-in to the boarding gate, including but not limited to:

  • Supervisors and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
  • Monitors and enforces safe working habits in accordance with dnata health and safety policies as well as applicable industry standards regulations, such as DOT, FAA, IATA.
  • Work with Station Manager to ensure that employee work schedule is being completed and covered all key areas, such as, employee training, employee paid time off, absent employees and shift rotations.
  • Monitor the performance standards of all Passenger Service Agents to ensure they are fully compliant with training, tardiness, sickness, company and uniform standards.
  • Conducts annual employee reviews
  • Trains, coaches, counsels and mentors’ employees in compliance with danta policies, procedures and practices.
  • Conducts daily shift briefs to communicate any pertinent daily, operational or airline account information.
  • Assist in the administration of dnata and airline paperwork to ensure compliance is never compromised.
  • Maintain communication with key internal and external stakeholders such as Station Manager, dnata Employees, Airline Accounts, Airport Authority, CBP and Emergency Services.
  • Able to perform duties outside of contracted role as and when needed to ensure the station remains operational at all times.
  • Allocate staff to jobs on a daily basis.
  • Allocate staff breaks to fit with the daily operation.
  • Provide cover for staff absent due to holiday and sickness.
  • Supervise the check in process to make sure that correct procedures are being followed.
  • Make sure that passenger and baggage flows are maintained.
  • Deal with passenger complaints.
  • Supervise the handling of lost, damaged or misdirected property on behalf of airlines.
  • Provide assistance to passengers with special needs, such as disabled and elderly passengers, and children who are about to travel unaccompanied by an adult.
  • Help passengers who are facing delays, including arranging refreshments, meals and accommodation.
  • Oversee the training of staff.
  • Liaise with others, such as staff from airlines and handling agents.
  • Attend meetings with other departments and outside agencies, such as customs and the police.
  • Responsible to discipline staff if time/attendance or unsatisfactory job performance.
