You Will

The GSE Parts Coordinator is responsible for parts procurement in ordering parts for current out of service vehicles, as well as coordinating future needed parts for out of service vehicles. Ensures checking-in received parts, maintains accurate records and that vehicles are returned to service in a timely manner. Responsible for compliance with established company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and maintained stocked all equipment and parts
  • Complete/revise/add parts to electronic work orders
  • Order necessary supplies to maintain company equipment clean, and in operating condition
  • Order necessary supplies/parts for scheduled Preventive Maintenance Inspections PPMI’s) conducted by mechanics
  • Provide status of equipment condition, issues and make recommendations
  • Promote and ensure safety work environment and compliance with all company policies/procedures and standards
  • Ensure compliance with dnata, Federal and State regulations/policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors, status of purchase orders, and estimated time of delivery
  • Obtain quotes from local and external vendors and provide to management for decision
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors (internally and externally) to ensure customer satisfaction and optimum profit opportunity for dnata
  • Adhere and follow procedures and distribution of parts to mechanics on shift
  • Communicate with supervisor/lead availability of parts/equipment for immediate instalment
  • Assist in all GSE/Admin functions as required by GSE manager, or other duties as assigned based on operational needs
  • Is able to meet Station’s attendance standards

You Have

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge,

  • Five (5) plus years related experience and/or combination of experience and training
  • Must be tech and parts knowledgeable with strong emphasis in airport industry equipment.
  • Knowledge of airport Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and airport operations is a plus, but not required
  • Experience ordering and receiving parts and understand the basics of organized procedures of parts. Preferably at a dealership or a major mechanic shop/store.
  • Certified in Air Brake adjustment (preferred)
  • Possess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required
  • identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Professional etiquette, excellent communication skills, detail oriented
  • Proficient Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to lifting, pulling, and
  • pushing heavy items of 50 pounds or more.
  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.
  • Required to work under inclement weather conditions
  • Must be able to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust and noise.
