Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our HR team. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs. You will be in contact with all levels of HR including upper management. If you're ready to kickstart your career in Human Resources and build real-world experience with recruiting, company communication, benefits, and the coordination of HR policies and procedures, this is the internship for you.
Location: Dulles, Virginia
Hours : 9-5pm Monday-Friday during 2024 summer
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage Summer Intern Program
• Assist HR Team with administrative tasks as needed
• Providing recruiting assistance and support (new hire paperwork, new hire onboarding, position postings, career fair coordination)
• Create, review and enhance baseline recruiting and other HR templates (candidate outreach, qualifying questions, interview evaluation forms, candidate onboarding materials, etc.)
• Research candidate competitor market intel (candidate pipelines)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Working towards a degree in a HR related field (Human Resources, Management, Organizational Behavior, General Business, etc.)
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Strong grammar and writing skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be local to DMV area with reliable transportation to be on site at our Dulles facility

Preferred Qualification and Skills:

• Experience with Pivot tables and Excel functions
• Previous office experience
• Experience with Outlook
