Responsibilities:

* Oversee team operations to guarantee adherence to regulations set by airlines, airports, ports, and other relevant authorities.

* Introduce process improvements, as necessary.

* Strategize, predict, coordinate, and convey production plans when required.

* Lead, inspire, and support a sizable team.

* Evaluate and refine policies to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

* Guarantee compliance with OSHA, Safe Program, and DOT standards/training.

* Formulate and execute departmental policies and procedures, along with associated training schedules.

* Track transportation expenses and generate management-requested reports.

Qualifications:

* A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in transportation, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.

* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

* Familiarity with operational sequences.

* Contract negotiation skills.

* Team player with the ability to work independently.

* Effective and articulate communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Strong planning, coordination, communication, and leadership abilities.

* Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, adept at navigating a dynamic environment.

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent with a commitment to follow-through.

* Capability to interact with department heads and team members, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy.

* Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and diverse clientele, requiring a hands-on approach to guest needs.

* Timely completion of assigned tasks within strict deadlines.

* Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferred experience with purchasing software.

* Flexibility with different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 Annually
