About the Opportunity

Digital Management, LLC (DMI) is seeking a full-time Mobile Developer to support a customer of ours in the DC Metro area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support scalable Mobile applications using open source technologies;
• Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions;
• Interface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to customers's systems;
• Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review;
• Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of mobile applications;
• Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures; and
• Work on the development of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards.
• Build fully deployable packages for development, staging, integration, and production environments and submit deployment requests for approval. 
• Adhere to software development methods including Agile, SCRUM, and Lean in the development of software. 
• Provide project status reports to the customer at all stages of the project lifecycle. 
• Utilize a bug tracking system/TFS to record and report failings to project managers. 
• Ensure SOPs, “How To” guides, testing plans, and accreditation paperwork are complete for each application.
• Develop a hybrid application using, Ext JS, Angular and Cordova
• Develop mobile applications UIs using HTML5, CSS, TypeScript and JavaScript
• Develop consumer facing app with backend integration using REST based API
• Work with UX Designers, Mobile Architects other Developers to implement full stack web and mobile solutions
• Work as part of an agile team on leading edge technologies
• Create and manage security and permissions.
• Perform data analysis and develop relational data models and reports.
• Perform and maintain integrations with external systems.
• Unit test applications. 
• Support applications after release.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or software engineering.
• 8 years of experience with Angular, Ext JS and Cordova
• Highly skilled JavaScript, TypeScript developer, angular or similar frameworks
• Demonstrated knowledge of jQuery Mobile
• Understanding of document description languages such as JSON and XML
• Five years of experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experience
• Five years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Proficiency with tools and technologies such as SharePoint framework, C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Web API, REST, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, and Bootstrap.
• Proficiency with software development and project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware of all types;
• Demonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical level information systems and data processing management; and
• High-level coding skills
• Detail orientated
• Self-motivated
• Team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior).

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or software engineering.
