DLP Services is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Location: LAREDO, TX
FLSA: non-Exempt Hire Pay: $12 per hour Classification: Full-time
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Administrative Assistant will plan and implement staffing solutions.
JOB DUTIES:
Facilitate procedures after hiring regarding employee onboarding and hiring pkg.
Ensures a professional office appearance and the safety of all employees, applicants, and visitors.
Oversee all staffing needs and operations of the company.
Heavy recruiting.
Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations.
Support candidate screening and hiring processes.
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
Assist in the preparation and execution of orientation and training plans.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation.
Ensures the continuous operation of office equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle sensitive information and function well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Basic computer skills, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXCISED: Receives supervision from the Operations Manager. The position has formally assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor/outdoor environment. Traveling required.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP SERVICES has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience:
Previous experience in business administration.
Reliable with respect to confidentiality.
Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Bilingual is a plus.
Must pass a background check.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
