Role: Social Media Coordinator

Reports to: Director Of Content

Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 per year

Summary : The Social Media Engagement Coordinator will serve as the marketing department’s internal point of contact to plan and execute all social media activities across the DLP business lines with a focused emphasis on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. The role will work closely with all business heads to leverage DLP's CEO thought leadership and business line marketing efforts, including, but not limited to, podcasts, reports, media appearances, case studies, products, new milestones and achievements, facilitating quick and authentic message development in order to best support corporate branding and social selling efforts. Additionally, this person will engage with our audiences and partners, driving our Impact mission into all of our social media presences.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements) 

  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate social media role
  • Experience with social media platforms LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. 
  • Experience with social media management software such as Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Organized, planner, works well under deadline pressure, and has a drive for action and getting things done. 
  • An interest in real estate and real estate finance is a plus.

What you are great at: (Responsibilities) 

  • Develop the DLP Social media plan and accomplish its implementation to gain followers, engagement and position DLP as a thought leader
  • Ensure prompt and regular posting following best practices to promote strongest engagement
  • Monitor, report and address reputational posts proactively and timely
  • Research, access and recommend an appropriate social media software tool for easy application, posting and listening
  • Lead the effort to reply and comment on all DLP social media, online review accounts and blogs
  • Audit and assist in updating and ensuring leaders and associates have top level, branded profiles
  • Work with senior marketing and business heads to support social selling and lead generating strategies
  • Create a process or shares platform to allow sales team to easily post corporate produced and sales focused content
  • Drive projects to completion
  • Work with marketing leaders to define the social media marketing deliverables
  • Track and report clear marketing results and analytics to business leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve the social media campaigns
  • Create high performing social media campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness for DLP Capital
  • Fully utilize the Inbound Marketing principles in social media to drive leads
  • Lead the organic social media promotion of webinars and events
  • Identify and suggest improvements to the quality and performance of social media marketing communications
  • Promote all appropriate content on social media, per the content calendar, across all business units
  • Work with IT team to set up reporting dashboards
