Role: Facilities Technician

Reports To: Commercial Property Manager

Summary : DLP Capital is looking for an experienced, skilled, motivated, and organized individual who will be responsible for managing contractors, and working with third-party vendors to join our maintenance department. 

What you have already achieved: (Requirements) 

  • Well organized, detail and customer oriented, self-starter, time management and prioritization. 
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions.
  • Experience in minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, lock repairs
  • Experience using computer technology
  • Detailed-oriented with a notable focus on ensuring and maintaining accuracy in record keeping
  • Have valid driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle to use for every day work assignments and on-call rotation
  • Possess own basic tools

What you are great at: (Responsibilities) 

  • Respond to maintenance and service requests - to include inputting and updating work orders and purchase orders, experience in AppFolio a plus. 
  • Vendor management to include overseeing and inspecting work of landscapers, roofers, plumbers, HVAC, lake/fountain maintenance etc.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop, to include ordering supplies as needed within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Schedule routine inspections, ie Elevator, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Panel, Fire Extinguisher, Backflows. 
  • Ensure preventative maintenance measures are completed.
  • Prepare property for changing weather conditions, ie Hurricane season
  • Look for needed maintenance or liability hazards and repair/report to the Commercial Property Manager. 
  • Maintain grounds and keep property free of trash and debris, must be able to walk the property several times a day.
  • Respond to any emergency calls in a timely manner, this is an on call position.
