Account Executive What part will you play? The Account Executive is responsible for providing Diversified’s clients and prospects with the highest possible level of quality in service to their account. It is expected that the Account Executive will devote his or her full-time energies to furthering the business objective of Diversified. The Account Executive should combine superior product knowledge with a high level of integrity with the objective of developing mutually beneficial long-term solutions and relationships. The Account Executive is responsible for communicating the specifics of client requirements to internal and external Diversified support personnel, so that the client experiences a superior level of customer service. It is the responsibility of the Account Executive to make certain that client expectations are being met or exceeded by creating realistic expectations, then taking responsibility for meeting those expectations. What will you be doing? The job responsibilities of the Account Executive include the following: Business Development & SalesThe Account Executive is responsible to actively pursue audio visual integration business opportunities for Diversified within enterprise corporate space, as well as other potential growth markets.The Account Executive acts as the team leader for Diversified’s delivery of proposals for customer and RFP opportunities, and functions as the lead customer relationship manager for new and assigned accounts.The successful candidate will work with the Sales Director to assist in acclimating to the Diversified selling environment.Candidate will work with the Sales Director to develop a sales plan to achieve corporate revenue and profit goals.Technical and Business ExpertiseCandidates should possess a good understanding of audiovisual & collaboration technologies.Ability to understand, synthesize and create AV system designs is a strong plus. Technical skills preferred.An understanding of IT and networking technologies would also be helpful.Candidate should possess good business negotiation skills.Audio Visual / Broadcast solutions may include: Video Teleconferencing / Polycom Real Presence; Cisco TelePresence / Acano systems; Barco / Planar / Prysm / VuWall / CineMassive / Prysm / Cyviz displays; Dante; Evertz; VBrick; Cisco Unified Communications; Skype for Business / Microsoft Lync Video & IM; Audio DSP systems / QSYS / Biamp / ClearOne; Digital Signage Systems; Crestron / AMX / Utelogy Controls; Black Magic; Grass Valley; Patch Bays; Ross; Sony; Imagine; Utah Scientific; ST-2110 systems; broadcast decoders; Calrec; SSL; Yamaha; IPTV; Enterprise scale KVM; ClearCom; RTS; Riedel.ReportingOpportunity Forecasting/Sales Proposals/Sales Pipeline: Diversified utilizes a CRM system to track Opportunities.Weekly National and Regional conference calls to assess potential sales activity.Team ResponsibilitiesMust be a team player and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.Must represent Diversified professionally and ethically and demonstrate good judgment and common sense in handling customer issues.Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, and exercise strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.What do we require from you? Associates degree from a Technical School, or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of outside sales experience AV / Security / Low Voltage experienceSelf-motivation to maintain a high activity level Experienced user of software CRM tools (Sales Logix knowledge is a plus) High level of professionalism (excellent oral & written communications skills) Strong preference for individuals who can demonstrate MS Office skills Desire to work in a thriving, high energy workplace Proven ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities Team mentality
