Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the organization of all project related activities and communications that will ensure the successful execution of the project. The Project Manager is to provide servant leadership for all project team members to deliver the project scope on or before the contracted schedule and at or under the established budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Be the chief conduit for communication and coordination with the customer, other teams within DCI (Estimating, Engineering, Field Operations, etc.), and third parties involved in the project execution (sub-contractors, material suppliers, etc.).
• Report project status on a regular basis to Sr. Management.
• Organize and lead project meetings with all applicable parties.
2. Ensure the project aligns with the applicable scope, schedule, and budget.
3. Understand DCI’s contractual requirements for your project and establish responsibilities and goals for each member of the project team, internal and external to DCI.
• Verify project material needs and purchase equipment accordingly.
• Issue Requests for Proposal to vendors and sub-contractors to set expectations from suppliers.
• Issue Purchase Orders and sub-contracts necessary to execute the project scope.
4. Develop the overall schedule for the project and drive the project team to meet or exceed it.
• Gather data from project stakeholders for input in the schedule.
• Continually monitor and maintain the project schedule.
5. Create the project budget, develop invoicing schedule, and accurately forecast costs to maintain adequate cash flow.
• Working with Contract Administration, develop and issue invoices to the customer.
• Analyze and approve invoices from vendors and sub-contractors.
6. Identify, analyze, and overcome potential risks to the success of the project.
7. Travel to the Project site on a regular basis to evaluate progress, resolve any site issues, provide support to on-site personnel, and communicate with the customer.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent of education and Project Management experience.
• 3 years of experience in project/construction management preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical layout drawings.
• CAD software (AutoCAD) experience preferred.

Position Information
Department: Project Management
Full Time position; salary with benefits
Work Schedule: 45 plus hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.
This position will work out of the home office in Memphis, TN.
Moderate travel to project sites is required (anticipate 25%, varies on project demands)
