Position Purpose
Provides general labor to support restoration efforts. Sometimes operates independently without direct supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (In addition to performing all other duties as required)

1. Assist in fire and water damage cleanup

2. Smoke and odor removal

3. Post-construction cleanup

4. Cleaning upholstery, building structures, and ductwork

5. May assist in training or providing guidance to junior level staff

6. May have limited client contact

7. Other forms of restoration and demolition

8. Provide on-call support

Minimum and Essential Qualifications

1. One or more years of cleaning/restoration experience or equivalent; high school diploma or equivalent

2. Able to use instrumentation

3. Knowledge of safety procedures

4. Basic knowledge of drying and cleaning techniques, including carpet, upholstery, and drapery cleaning procedures

5. Familiar with the proper technique for mold remediation

6. Understand operations of airless paint sprayers

7. Able to use hand tools and power tools with minor skills in demolition

8. Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and speak English

9. Required to own the following tools: hammer, tape measure, pencil, screw drivers, pliers, safety knife, flat bar, tool box, awl, side cutters, chalk box, drywall saw, tin snips, side cutter pliers, permanent marker

10. Strong team player, dependable, and reliable

11. Required certifications and continuing education

12. Valid driver’s license preferred
