Description

Shore Dental in North Port, FL is a leading provider of patient-oriented care using state-of-the-art technology. Our practice is proud to continue our long-term tradition of crafting naturally beautiful smiles. When you join the Shore Dental team, you’ll have a network to support your success as part of a collaborative team dedicated to building long-term relationships with our patients. 

We are currently seeking a superstar Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team! Must have your Florida EFDA certificate to be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist our dentist with veneers, smile makeovers, crown and bridge, whitening, lab work and other dental procedures
  • Serve as an infection control officer, develop infection control protocol, and prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Obtain information on patient's medical history
  • Take blood pressure and pulse
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
  • Provide patients with instructions for post oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Dental Charting
  • Digital Radiography

Benefits include: health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, PTO and pd holidays after 60 days of FT employment

Requirements

  • Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate REQUIRED
  • Experience with Eaglesoft preferred but not required
