Distrikt Hotel NYC is Hiring a Director of Food and Beverage Near New York, NY

As a Director of Food and Beverage, you would be responsible for directing and organizing the day to day service of the hotel's food and beverage outlet. The Director of Food and Beverage will be responsible in aiding the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The ideal candidate must be capable of resolving any issues that may arise from operations, and coordinate resolutions effectively with other departments. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage all outlet operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, department management, policy and procedure implementation and end of the month inventory reports.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, scheduling, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Monitor and assess product and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Complete all ordering of food and beverage items included, but not limited to, food, beverages, alcohol, and operating supplies.
  • Ensure team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings, products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events
  • Recruit, interview and train team members

Director of Food and Beverage reports directly to the General Manager. Ideally, candidate to be experienced in the food and beverage industry with a managerial background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
