The Continuous Improvement Manager is directly accountable for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.

Job Duties and Expectations:
· Lead process improvement activities and kaizen events to enhance Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, Quality and Efficiency among other KPIs
· Lead Practical Problem-Solving events to identify root cause and define solutions to mitigate or eliminate the primary root cause.
· Provide training to raise the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)/Lean knowledge level and implementation skills of the enterprise
· Develop process documentation and standards to support business continuity and continuous improvement efforts.
· Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
· Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Experience leading individual quality improvement projects from inception through conclusion
· Experience leading practical problem-solving efforts to identify root causes and develop and implement solutions
· Establishment of process & tools for data collection transactions at task level for units, time, & defects
· Professional certificates in Lean, Quality Management, Six Sigma, Business Analysis or Project Mgmt.
· Experience utilizing various process and quality improvement methodologies
· Ideally possess some technical skills for implementing and maintaining identified process improvement solutions
· Undergraduate or graduate degree in business management, engineering, or information systems
· Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience utilizing various process and quality improvement methodologies, preferably in areas of product development and product quality.
Working Conditions:
· Significant walking, bending, standing
· Physical activities including but not limited to reaching, pulling, pushing, gripping, grabbing, and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Level of Supervision Exercised:
· Direct and oversee the continuous improvement department locally
· Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
· Conducts training as needed
